Leslie Frater – DPT, Physical Therapist, CSCS, specialty in Women’s Health, Clinic Owner
My passion is providing one-on-one care to my patients. Here at FIT we want you to feel welcome, and heard, so you will be one-on-one with your physical therapist the entire session, from start to finish of your recovery. I have been a licensed physical therapist for the past 21 years. I graduated from Ohio University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I completed my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Regis University in May 2012. Additionally, I have specialized training in women’s health physical therapy services, comprehensive training in Pilates-based physical therapy, dry needling and lymphedema management. My broad physical therapy education and experience allow me to provide the following services for each of my patients:
-
sports medicine with specialization in ACL injury prevention
-
neck and back pain rehabilitation
-
women’s health physical therapy for diagnoses such as osteoporosis, pregnancy-related back pain, pelvic pain, and fecal and urinary incontinence
-
lymphedema management
-
work-related injuries
-
post-op surgical rehabilitation
-
orthopedic injuries including foot, ankle, knee, elbow and shoulder pain
-
vestibular rehabilitation
I opened the clinic in this location because I love being able to help people in my community. I live here in Frisco and I love to watch my two boys, Jacob and Nathan, play football.
