Mikyla graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health. A-Whoop! In 2017, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX. She has experience working with patients from early childhood to late adulthood with a variety of diagnoses including pre-operative and post-operative care, pain management/chronic pain, overuse/repetitive injuries, return to sport, balance/fall prevention, and women’s health and pelvic floor therapy. She is certified in dry needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. She has advanced training in Graston Technique. She enjoys working alongside her patients in helping them achieve their functional goals through extensive patient education, manual therapy techniques, and exercise to help them get back to the things they love!
When not in the clinic, you can find Mikyla enjoying time with family and friends, reading a good book, indoor cycling, walking or running with her dog Sushi, kayaking on the lake, or cooking in the kitchen with her husband.
